Fellowship

I am delighted to be able to share the good news that after an extremely long wait and a lot of bother, I eventually have my renewed Portuguese Residency Permit. It is wonderful to be able to share this good news with you, especially those who have been hearing about my ongoing saga. In the Bible we are exhorted to have Christian fellowship, which is not just about socialising, abd actually we won't necessarily have common interests, but about building on shared spiritual truths, praising and worshipping God together, developing a safe space to be mutually transparent in our struggles and failures, encouraging and praying for each other. After Jesus's resurrection and sending of His Holy Spirit to His followers, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer" (Acts 2:42). "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near" (Hebrews 10:24-25).
