Terms of use

Last updated 4 November 2026

These terms apply to your use of podsearch.org (the "site"), operated by Technical Partners ("we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

podsearch is a free search and discovery site for podcasts. It reads the public RSS feeds of shows listed in the open Podcast Index. We provide the site as is, and we may change, limit or stop any part of it at any time. No account is needed to browse.

Podcast content belongs to its publishers

Titles, descriptions, artwork and audio belong to the podcasters and hosts who publish them. We link to and stream from their servers and do not copy or rehost audio. Nothing on the site grants you rights to that content beyond what its publisher allows. Content is not reviewed by us and can be inaccurate or offensive; labels such as "likely AI-generated" are automated estimates, not statements of fact.

A publisher who wants a show removed or corrected can contact us.

Acceptable use

API, data extracts and the connector

Use of the API is also covered by the API terms of use. Purchases of data extracts are processed by Stripe and delivered as described at checkout.

Advertising and privacy

The site shows ads through Google AdSense. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google ads load only after you accept them, and you can change that at any time with "Privacy choices" in the footer. The privacy policy explains what the site stores and the choices you have.

Third-party links

The site links to podcast publishers, podcast apps and other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.

No warranty and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
