HubSpot's mobile app gets a new look and full dark mode | Shipped Aug 2026

It's late, your phone is in dark mode, and the HubSpot app still flashes white at you. HubSpot says that's fixed: the mobile app got a full redesign, with dark mode support on every screen. We cover what changed (and what didn't), where Dark Mode and Device lock live in the app's settings, a made-up rep named Jordan who leaves a phone at a trade show booth, supported phones, the jailbroken and rooted device rule, automatic updates, connecting a calendar on mobile, Breeze search on Android, and a five-step rollout plan.Who it's for: field sales reps, service agents checking tickets away from a desk, owners and RevOps leads who review pipelines on the go, and anyone who keeps their phone in dark mode. Our research first covered this on August 27, 2026. Here's where it stands as of our Oct 30, 2026 check: HubSpot's August product updates describe the redesign and full dark mode on iOS and Android. HubSpot's install guide (updated Oct 26, 2026) lists Dark Mode settings and Device lock in the app's settings. Our write-up said HubSpot noted most mobile users have dark mode on; we didn't find that on a HubSpot page, so we call it unconfirmed. In this episode00:00:00 A redesigned app, and where dark mode lives00:02:08 Device lock, supported phones, and updates00:04:24 An unconfirmed stat and a rollout planSourcesOur research: HubSpot Mobile App Redesign: New UI and Dark Mode (2026)HubSpot Knowledge Base: Install the HubSpot mobile appHubSpot Product Updates: August 2026 Product UpdatesMore HubSpot updatesEvery HubSpot update we cover lives at Sidekick Strategies HubSpot Updates.AI disclosure: Rob and Dana are AI hosts with AI-generated voices.
