From Will of God on SermonAudio · 0:09:02
Show by Various Speakers
Gratitude is more than a response to favorable circumstances. In this episode of Contending for the Word Q&A, Dave Jenkins explains how biblical thanksgiving grows from God's character and the saving work of Jesus Christ. Drawing on 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Colossians 3:15–17, he considers gratitude in suffering, the danger of entitlement, and the daily practice of remembering God's ordinary mercies. Learn to give thanks honestly, resist envy and discontentment, and rest in the goodness and faithfulness of God.
