What happens when the gospel begins to change?Paul opens Galatians with urgency because the churches were being told that faith in Jesus was not enough. They were being taught that they needed Jesus plus something else in order to truly be accepted by God.But the gospel is not about what we can do for God. It is the good news of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.Jesus gave Himself for our sins. He came to rescue us. And He is enough.In Galatians 1:1–10, we see why we must know the true gospel, guard it from distortion, and live for the approval of Christ rather than the approval of people.Jesus is enough. We cannot add to the gospel without changing the gospel.
