Part 8: Everything Changes Here
From Gateway Church - MO · 36:27
Show by Gateway Church
If the cross is where redemption is accomplished, the resurrection is where the new creation breaks into the old. Jesus does not merely survive death; He defeats it. Paul calls Him the first fruits, pointing toward a future in which what happened to Jesus becomes the beginning of what God intends for all creation. The resurrection means forgiveness is not the end of the Gospel—life is. Sin, suffering, decay, and death are still present realities, but they no longer determine how the story ends. The empty tomb changes the picture because it tells us that death does not get the last word.
