Show by 106.7 Lite fm (WLTW-FM)
In early October, over 350 community leaders, advocates, policymakers, and New Yorkers gathered for the State of NYC Women Conference. Hosted for the second year by Women Creating Change, the event is designed to turn women's lived experiences into policy solutions. On the eve of the midterm elections, what are the key messages and takeaways from the event, and what messages are they sending to candidates and elected officials today? My guest is Ane Mathieson, Director of Policy, Advocacy, & Research at Women Creating Change, a New York City-based nonprofit focused on civically engaging women.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
