Future Proof | The Future Changes Everything
From Zion Lutheran Church Walburg, TX · 25:38
Show by Zion Lutheran Pastors
When the Thessalonians heard the gospel, their lives changed direction. They turned from idols, began serving the living and true God, and started waiting for His Son to return from heaven. Their hope for the future transformed their loyalties and priorities in the present. The same is true for us. Jesus' promise, "I will come back," is not merely information about something that will happen someday. It changes whom we trust, what we worship, and how we live right now. Christian waiting is not passive. Because Jesus is coming again, we turn from the things that cannot save us and devote ourselves to the God who can.
