Running a homeopathic practice can become overwhelming when administration takes more time than caring for patients. I speak with Gunel Selio and Daria Gavrilova, founders of HomeoSync, about their journeys into homeopathy and the challenges that inspired them to create a practice management system specifically for homeopaths. We discuss reducing administrative work, preventing burnout, protecting client information, and helping more homeopathy graduates establish professional practices. They also share their vision for supporting homeopaths through better business systems, professional development, and a healthier approach to running their practices. Gunel is a registered homeopath and founder of GUNA Homeopathy. Daria is a business engineer and technology specialist whose work includes operational systems, automation, data protection and responsible AI. HomeoSync grew from their combined experience of the realities of homeopathic practice: Gunel understood the clinical work and the practitioner’s pressures from the inside, while Daria could see how thoughtful systems could reduce fragmentation, protect sensitive information and return time and attention to the practitioner. Together they also host Hahnemann’s Daughters, a podcast exploring homeopathy through honest conversations about the human beings, ideas and responsibilities behind the profession. Gunel Selio, LCHE, RSHom, is a registered homeopath based in Cardiff and the founder of GUNA Homeopathy. She has been involved with homeopathy since 2008 and completed her professional training at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. Her work focuses on personalised classical case-taking, women’s and family health, recurring and chronic concerns, and mental and emotional wellbeing. Gunel co-created HomeoSync after experiencing first-hand how administrative fragmentation can exhaust a practitioner and interfere with presence during consultations. Daria Gavrilova is a business engineer, technology and operations specialist, founder of Decode&Grow and co-founder of HomeoSync. Her work focuses on designing connected business systems, automation, data protection and responsible uses of AI. She brought the operational and technical architecture to HomeoSync, helping translate the realities of homeopathic practice into workflows that are clearer, safer and more sustainable. It brings together the operational parts of a homeopathic practice—including client records, intake and consent, appointments, payments, treatment history, symptom and remedy tracking, professional development and practitioner self-care—so the homeopath can spend less energy managing scattered systems and more time being present with clients. The platform is built around a central idea: a healthy practitioner needs a healthy practice. Technology should not replace professional judgement or the human relationship; it should quietly support them.
