Why Your Team Isn’t Using Their Language App
From The Language Dive Podcast · 24:58
Show by Wilim Abrook
Giving your team a language app feels easy. But then, it all goes quiet. In one workplace study, around half of participants never even logged in.The problem usually isn’t the app, and it isn’t the people. It’s that nobody planned what happens after the logins go out. This episode looks at what’s actually been tried to get adults using language apps: proper launches, check-ins, goal-setting, rewards, leaderboards and live teachers. It covers what worked, what backfired, and why even the simplest plan beats hoping for the best.Sources:* Boers, F., & Lindstromberg, S.
