From Educate Me! · 34:17
Show by Mark Turner
Nancy Rousseau is the recently retired Principal of perhaps the most famous and socially important high school in America, Central High, in Little Rock, Arkansas. For nearly a quarter of a century, Nancy led the team at a campus steeped in history and central to the American civil rights movement. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Secretaries of State, Secretaries of Education, and other noted dignitaries visited the historic building during her time there, but none as important or as revered as the returning Little Rock Nine. This episode runs a few minutes long, and it's still not long enough. Enjoy!
