Student protests have expanded across multiple regions, as young people take to the streets over concerns such as education budgets, housing prices, pollution, austerity and the threat of compulsory military service. In Serbia, the student-led Student List has secured an electoral mandate and succeeded in dislodging a long-established, corruption-tainted government alleged to have links to organised crime. The list is now poised to form a new administration. According to an analysis of its internal rules, its candidates were chosen through 85 student assemblies. The article connects the protests to young people's concerns about jobs, education, housing and climate policy. It cites a drop in UK graduate job postings, from about 180,000 four years ago to 50,000 today. It also reports that hi-tech employment of people aged 18 to 24 fell by 30% between December 2019 and December 2025, while the sector expanded by 33%. Sociologist Valérie Becquet says the protests are developing into a wider social movement, with inequalities between social groups widening. Student demonstrations are planned in Australia on November 11 and in Britain and Italy on November 20. https://mansetetkisi.com/en/a-global-youthquake-is-happening-promises-we-made-the-young-have-been-broken-and-they-know-it-31189
