Show by Diane Doersch
Send us Fan MailErin Rennick-White and Diane Doersch met at an ISTE four years ago, when Erin was just beginning her time as the Executive Director of Technology for Mid-Del Public Schools in Central Oklahoma. In this episode, Diane and Erin reminisce over their thought-partner pairing as part of the Consortium for School Networking's K12 Early CTO Academy. Erin shares her journey developing her leadership philosophy and actions, and how important it was to build a leadership team to help run the day-to-day. As a huge fan of the Savannah Bananas, Erin draws inspiration from the spark they brought back to baseball, and she illustrates how those principles show up in her leadership. All in all, together they have a real conversation acknowledging the tough nature of leadership, while also highlighting the joy they have in sharing their expertise with younger leaders. This episode was recorded during the ISTE Live 2026 conference in Orlando, Florida, on June 29.Follow Erin here:Linkedin: Erin Rennick-White Twitter: @rennickteach Join BTW Slack Community: HEREEmail us with any questions, comments, thoughts, or feedback: [email protected] Beneath the Water on Instagram: @Beneaththewaterpod-------------------Find Diane's latest adventures (podcasting, fishing, and beyond!): LinkedInFollow Friends of Friends Recording: Instagram
