Tom Staudt, president of ARK Invest (@ARKInvest2015), discusses how the decline of AI inference costs opens the door to a stronger productivity, which in turn leads to a stronger economy. A tentative merger between Tesla (TSLA) and SpaceX (SPCX) is something he believes adds to that thesis. Tom points out that Elon Musk has a track record of combining companies and offers synergies in AI endeavors. However, he warns a merger poses risks in missing stronger robotaxi growth. All that said, ARK still has a $4,400 price target in Tesla for 2031.
