High Function Revealed explores what happens when you become very good at functioning through trauma. You get things done. People depend on you. You can build a life, hold everything together, and still struggle to feel safe, ask for help, or understand your own emotions. I’m Janice Diaz. Through stories from my life, I explore how those experiences show up in our relationships, ambition, independence, and need for control—including the patterns we’re praised for that may be costing us more than anyone sees. This is a place to recognize something of yourself, hear experiences you might not have had words for, and talk about what we’ve worked through—and what we’re still living through.
