This Podcast will ask the questions that so many of us have around what it looks like to live a life of faith in Jesus Christ in today's environment. To many of us it appears as though there is a gap that exists between the life of the early church followers and our present day experiences of God and the supernatural power and demonstrations of the Devine. My desire is to explore that percieved "gap" and discover if there are things that we can do to minimize or eliminate it. I will ask questions of, and listen to testimonies from people just like us who are experiencing "more" of God in an attempt to grow in my own spiritual encounters with God and the people around me.The Bible says that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That truth makes me believe that if my experience of God looks and feels different than that of the early church, then the disconnect (or Gap) is a result of humanity changing and not God. Are there disciplines, perceptions, or understandings that can be developed within us that would bring us back to a more New Testament Biblical relationship with God whereby we could experience life in The Kingdom of God in a similar way as the early church followers of Jesus?We will explore hearing from God, living by faith, total dependency on God, and a host of other topics as Holy Spirit leads us conversation by conversation.
