Brain health is measurable. That is the idea this show is built on, and it is the reason it exists. Restoring Brain Health is a conversation for people who have already been through the system and came out the other side without answers. You had the imaging. You had the labs. You saw the specialist. And what you were told, in one form or another, was that things look normal, or that this is simply something to watch and manage. Meanwhile you are the one living with the memory lapses, the fog, the sleep that does not restore you, the mood that does not feel like yours, the balance that is not what it was. There is a difference between how a brain looks and how a brain works, and almost nobody explains it to patients. A structural scan can be unremarkable while function is not. We use the term network interference to describe what is often happening: the brain operates as networks that have to communicate with each other, and when that communication is disrupted, it shows up in thinking, memory, movement, sleep and mood. The structure is intact. The conversation between regions is not. That distinction is the single most useful thing most people have never been told about their own brain, and unpacking it is what this show does episode by episode. Your hosts are Chad Woolner, Trevor Berry and Sharon Webb. Between them you get three things that rarely sit in the same room: a translator who insists on plain language and refuses to let jargon hide a weak answer, a clinician who can explain the mechanism underneath a symptom, and a clinical voice grounded in what actually happens with patients in practice. The conversations are unhurried but disciplined. Episodes run under thirty minutes, because the goal is not to impress you with complexity, it is to leave you with something you can use. What you can expect from the show: Plain-language explanations of how the brain actually functions, and why the way it is usually measured misses so much. Honest talk about the…
