Hi guys, this is Persephone, coming to you live from the Underworld. Everyone knows Zeus, Athena and Aphrodite. But Olympus had staff. There was a god of flattery who never got a single line, and a goddess of ruin Zeus threw off the mountain by her hair. Rumour had a tongue under every feather, and Excuses had a father literally named Afterthought. I've met every soul that ever came down here, and I'm tired of hearing the same twelve names. So each episode, I'm pulling one forgotten god out of the dark and telling you who they were, where the stories come from, and why the Greeks needed them!
