Sleepy Expedition
By Sleepy Expedition
Categories: History
History told in the quiet hours. Each episode is a slow expedition to one quiet place: an island monastery in the 820s, a lighthouse on a rock in the North Sea, the edge of the Antarctic ice with Captain Cook. Every story is true and carefully researched, built from the letters, logbooks and drawings that survive, and told gently so you can drift off whenever you are ready. No cliffhangers, no sudden noises, just a calm voice, a few things worth knowing, and the sounds of faraway places. Early episodes are narrated by a synthetic voice, with mine to follow.
