Built for the people who work with podcasts

Four jobs it does well. Ask for them in your own words; Claude picks the tools.

PR and guest booking

Build a pitch list in minutes, not afternoons.

  • Active shows on your client's topic, by language, size and how recently they published
  • A dossier per show: how often it publishes, hosts, recent guests, chart positions
  • The contact email the publisher put in its own feed (Pro)
  • Twenty more shows like the one that just booked your client

"Find 20 shows like Hard Fork that published this month, and skip AI-generated ones."

Guest and talent research

See where someone has already been before you pitch them, or pitch for them.

  • Episodes that credit the person, ranked above likely interviews and passing mentions
  • The sentence that shows why each match counts
  • The same interview syndicated to several feeds, listed once

"Where has Brené Brown been a guest this year? Leave out audiobook listings."

Media buying and sponsorships

Size inventory before you spend.

  • Apple Podcasts top charts for 49 countries and 19 categories
  • Where any one show charts, and whether it still publishes on schedule
  • Lookalikes of a show that converted, in the same language

"Top 25 business podcasts in Germany right now. Which of them publish weekly?"

Brand and comms monitoring

Hear who is talking about you, your client or your category.

  • How many episodes mentioned a brand, product or person in any window up to the last 90 days
  • The shows that mention it most, each with its AI label
  • Then the episodes themselves, newest first

"How many podcast episodes mentioned our product in the last 30 days, and on which shows?"

Why podsearch

The whole open catalog

Every show in the open Podcast Index, 4.7 million feeds, not a hand-picked subset.

Fresh

New episodes often arrive within minutes of publishing, through Podping and adaptive polling.

Skips AI-generated shows

Leave out shows judged AI-generated, so you don't pitch a client to a script.

Careful with contacts

Only the email a publisher declared in its own feed. Hosting-platform relay addresses are held back, and opt-outs are honoured.

What it won't tell you

Better to know before you rely on it.

  • Listener numbers. A chart rank is the best public signal of reach we have; it is not a listener count.
  • What was only said out loud. It searches episode titles and show notes, not transcripts.
  • Contact emails on the Free plan. Those come with Pro and Enterprise.
  • Anything it can't link to. Every show and episode comes with a podsearch page, so you can check before you send.

Questions

Can podsearch see my chats?

No. We never see your conversation. Claude sends us only the tool call it decides to make, such as a search query, and we answer it. See the privacy policy.

Can it change anything in my accounts?

No. Every tool is read-only: it searches and reads public podcast data, nothing else.

Which assistants does it work with?

Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, Claude Code, ChatGPT (developer mode for now) and any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol.

Where does the data come from, and how accurate is it?

From the RSS feeds publishers maintain, found through the open Podcast Index. It is as accurate as those feeds. An AI label of "unknown" means nobody has judged the show yet, not that a person made it.

I run a podcast. Can I change or remove what you show?

Yes. Email [email protected] to remove a show or its contact email.
