The Leaky Faucet and the Handyman
From Claudia - Claudia and David Naughton stories · 14:46
Show by Trigger And Kai Media
Aired: Oct 22nd, 1947. After finishing the dinner dishes, Claudia convinces David to tackle the kitchen faucet that has been plopping and keeping her awake. Without a proper screwdriver, David resorts to using a blunt hotel knife left behind by the apartment's previous tenant, Mr. Tucker. The amateur plumbing job quickly goes awry when water sprays from the pipe, leaving David plugging the gush with his finger while Claudia rushes for towels. Following a minor cut from the knife, a sting of iodine, and a tender reflection on early marriage, the couple settles down to rest—only to hear the familiar drip start up all over again.
