Generous Living: Stewarding The Ultimate Gift
From Point Hope Presbyterian · 38:13
Show by Point Hope Presbyterian
This Palm Sunday, Point Hope closed out our Generous Living series with a message that hit deep: God doesn’t just want a piece of our lives—He wants all of it. We looked at Genesis 22, where Abraham is asked to surrender what he loves most—his son Isaac. Not because God is cruel, but because He is King. The story presses on a core truth: God wants your whole heart. Every square inch. Why does God ask so much? Because He gave so much. This story points us to a greater one—a Father who didn’t spare His own Son so that we could be brought into His family. As we enter Holy Week, we’re invited to live not out of scarcity, but out of surrender. Not asking “How much can I keep?” but “How much can I give?” This is what generous living looks like—holding nothing back, because He didn’t either.
