For Such a Time as This (Esther 4)
From Holy Spirit Sermons · 13:06
Show by Holy Spirit Lutheran Church
Pastor Reylene Starego reflects on Esther 4 and the challenge to speak up, take faithful risks, and serve our neighbors “for such a time as this.” Through Esther’s story—and a parable of a hummingbird doing what it can—this message invites us to trust that God equips ordinary people with courage. The sermon also connects Jesus’ call in Matthew 16 to take up our cross with the realities of influence, community strength, and telling the truth in our own moment. Listen for practical encouragement to act, even when what we do feels small. The introduction and closing use an AI-generated voice.
