മഹാഭാരതത്തിലെ ആദിപർവം അനുസരിച്ച് അദ്രിക ഒരു അപ്സരസ്സായിരുന്നു. ഒരു ശാപഫലമായി അവർ മത്സ്യരൂപം സ്വീകരിച്ച് യമുനാനദിയിൽ ജീവിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ആ ശാപത്തിനും ഒരു പരിഹാരം നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് പ്രിനു പ്രഭാകരൻ, Script: എസ്. അശ്വിൻ Adrika is the celestial nymph from the Mahabharata who, due to a curse, was transformed into a fish and lived in the Yamuna river.
