Why? : Why Do We Have Hope? -1 John 3:1-3
From Peace Seymour Weekly Messages · 25:49
Show by Peace Seymour
In this world, it's easy to lose hope. This world sucks hope from us. It's because there is so much evil in this world. The darkness of this world feels often times like it drowns out the light. We see pain, suffering, evil, and of course, death all around us. This world is full of trouble. We may even wonder, how can God love us, when he takes away that which we love? We know love, because we know that Jesus has come to live, suffer, die, and rise for us. We are made children of God in our baptism and as he has chosen us to be his own! We know that soon, we will see the glory of God, and the glory he has given to us as his children. We will rise from the dead when Jesus returns, see him and each other as we are, and live forever with him and with all who are children of God, in a resurrected and restored world! We trust in God's love and kindness because Jesus has come to suffer with and for us, he has made us his children, and he will show us his glory at the resurrection.
